You know that feeling when your wife tells you “I’ll only be making soup for today, we need to eat healthy, blablabla…”. Well there’s nothing better than to make a couple of delicious hot sandwiches to go along with the healthy soup.
Better don’t say it straight to your wife that her soup just won’t do for you. Make it look as if you are helping big time in the kitchen.
Jokes aside, below you’re going to find a complete procedure and the ingredients to use, for making the most delicious hot sandwiches with grilled peppers. Also note that we’ll be using 3 types of cheese, while you can also just use 1 to make things simpler for yourself. But since I am a big fan of cheese, I’ll be using three types (Gouda, Cheddar and Cream cheese).
To make it really top notch, add a very thin slice of Prosciutto in between.

- A knife
- An owen
- Toast bread slices
- Gouda cheese
- Grilled peppers
- Cheddar cheese
- Cream cheese
- Prepare your layers (of toast, cheese, salami, peppers, etc).
- Put your layers together to make a sandwich.
- Put the sandwiches in a hot oven about 160°C (320°F) for about 10-15 minutes.
- Enjoy your crispy delicious snack!
